A concentrated natural antioxidant balm to support healthy skin, particularly areas requiring intensive nourishment and care.
Perrin’s Blend is a rich, honey-based ointment formulated with a unique combination of natural antioxidants including grape seed extract, vitamin C, vitamin E, alpha lipoic acid and N-acetyl cysteine (NAC). This thick, protective balm is designed for targeted application where skin requires extra support, moisture and antioxidant care.
Traditionally chosen by customers looking for natural skin care support for areas of concern including sun-damaged skin, dry or compromised skin, age-related skin changes, and sensitive areas such as those affected by lichen sclerosus (lichen sclerosis).
Perrin’s Blend is particularly popular among people seeking a natural approach to caring for:
- Areas of skin affected by environmental stress and sun exposure
- Dry, fragile or delicate skin
- Localised areas requiring intensive antioxidant support
- Skin affected by irritation or sensitivity
- Intimate skin care routines, including supportive care for people with lichen sclerosus
Why Perrin’s Blend is different
Unlike a traditional moisturising cream, Perrin’s Blend is a highly concentrated ointment with a thick, sticky texture (hard in cold climates). The honey-based formula allows it to stay in contact with the skin, making it ideal for targeted application.
The rich burgundy colour comes naturally from grape seed extract. Due to its concentrated formula, only a small amount is required. Many customers prefer to use Perrin’s Blend as an intensive overnight treatment and pair it with Crème Complete during the day for ongoing skin nourishment.
Texture and application
Perrin’s Blend is not a spreadable cream. It is a firm, concentrated ointment that may become softer with body heat. In cooler weather, warm scoop a small amount with a warm knife and mix with Crème Complete if a softer consistency is preferred.
For areas where staining is a concern, note that the natural grape seed extract gives Perrin’s Blend its deep colour and may mark fabrics so choosing black is a must.
Important information
Perrin’s Blend is a natural topical skin care product designed to support healthy skin. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent medical conditions. If you have concerns about changes in your skin, including new or changing lesions, always seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.

Key Features
The Power of Nature - How does it work?
Grape Seed Extract - contains polyphenols that work to promote healthy cell growth. These polyphenols have been shown to minimise the growth of abnormal cells and encourage these cells to die.
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is an antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant that promotes the growth of normal skin.
N-Acetyl Cysteine is an amino acid that may help to block the development of abnormal cells.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is a powerful antioxidant that has been shown to reduce the oxidation that cause aging. Oxidation, also known as free-radical damage, is caused by exposure to the sun, air pollution, heavy metals and other toxins.
D Alpha tocopherol, otherwise known as Vitamin E is an antioxidant shown to support healthy skin growth.
How to Use Perrin’s Blend:
Perrin’s Blend needs to be covered with a bandage to prevent it from rubbing off and staining clothes or bedding.
You will get the best results when the area being treated is in constant contact with Perrin’s Blend.
You will get faster results if the area remains covered when bathing to prevent the ointment being washed off on a microscopic level. Change the bandage after bathing and applying a fresh amount of Perrin’s Blend – avoid having a wet bandage on your skin.
Waterproof plasters are a good option as they do not need to be changed as often.
Wash the area periodically to prevent a build up of adhesive.
If a growth is on your face then during the day it may not be necessary to cover the area since the Perrin’s Blend will probably not be rubbed off as easily.
You can use Perrin’s Blend at night and the Crème Complete during the day. This is especially useful if the area is on your face and you feel uncomfortable wearing a plaster. It is also the recommended practice for Lichen Sclerosis.

Frequently Asked Questions
Lichen Sclerosus Skin Care: Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can Perrin’s Blend be used as part of a lichen sclerosus skin care routine?
Many people with lichen sclerosus (also sometimes searched as “lichen sclerosis”) look for gentle, natural skin care options to support areas of delicate, dry or sensitive skin.
Perrin’s Blend is a concentrated antioxidant ointment traditionally used as part of a supportive skin care routine. Its rich honey-based formula provides intensive nourishment and helps create a protective barrier for areas where skin requires extra care.
Perrin’s Blend is not a medical treatment for lichen sclerosus and does not replace assessment or management from your healthcare practitioner. If you have been diagnosed with lichen sclerosus, it is important to continue working with your healthcare provider.
2. Why do people choose Perrin’s Blend for lichen sclerosus support?
Lichen sclerosus commonly affects sensitive skin areas that may experience dryness, fragility, irritation or discomfort. Many people seek products that are:
Gentle and nourishing for delicate skin
Free from unnecessary fragrances and harsh additives
Rich in antioxidants and protective ingredients
Suitable for targeted application
Perrin’s Blend contains a unique combination of natural antioxidants including grape seed extract, vitamin E, vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid and N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), combined in a concentrated honey-based ointment.
3. How do I apply Perrin’s Blend for sensitive skin areas?
Because Perrin’s Blend is a concentrated ointment, only a very small amount is needed.
For sensitive areas:
Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin.
Allow the balm to soften with body heat before spreading.
Apply gently without rubbing or irritating the skin.
Use as part of your individual skin care routine.
Some customers prefer to combine a small amount of Perrin’s Blend with Crème Complete to create a softer, more easily spreadable consistency.
4. Is Perrin’s Blend suitable for vulval or intimate skin care?
Perrin’s Blend is used by some customers as part of their intimate skin care routine; however, every person’s skin is different.
Sensitive genital skin may respond differently to topical products. Some people may experience a temporary tingling, warmth or mild sensation for a short period after application, particularly when first introducing Perrin’s Blend. If this sensation settles within approximately 5–20 minutes and your skin otherwise feels comfortable, you may continue using the product as part of your skin care routine.
If you experience ongoing burning, irritation, increased discomfort, redness, or a reaction that does not improve by reducing the amount applied or frequency of use, discontinue use and contact us for assistance. If symptoms persist, seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.
Avoid applying to broken skin, open wounds or areas that have not been assessed by a healthcare professional.
5. Can Perrin’s Blend help with sun-damaged or ageing skin?
Perrin’s Blend is rich in antioxidants that support healthy skin maintenance and help nourish skin exposed to environmental stressors such as sun exposure.
It is often chosen by people looking for natural antioxidant skin care for areas of dry, weathered or mature skin.
6. Is “lichen sclerosis” the same as lichen sclerosus?
Yes. The correct medical spelling is lichen sclerosus. Many people search for “lichen sclerosis”, but both terms commonly refer to the same skin condition.
7. Why is my Perrin Blend firm and difficult to spread?
Perrin Blend is a concentrated balm or ointment, not a traditional cream, so it has a naturally hard texture - particularly in cooler weather. This helps protect the blend’s concentrated ingredients and means only a small amount is needed with each application.
In winter or colder climates, warming a small amount between your fingers may not be enough. We recommend scooping out a small amount with a warm knife and mixing it with Creme Complete to create a softer, more spreadable consistency.
You can adjust the ratio depending on your preference - use more Creme Complete for a lighter texture or more Perrin Blend for a richer balm-like application.
Order arrived quickly and was very securely packaged. I've used Perrins Blend on a lichenoid keratosis, which it resolved very quickly, with no evidence to show there'd ever been any issue with my skin.
Hi Nicole,

I had a problem with a missing product and had sent several emails asking for this to be addressed. Because of the time of year many customer service people are on leave so this was possibly why I did not get an answer straight away but as soon as they was back on board the problem was immediately addressed and rectified.
Hi Roseanne,
Thank you for your review, and we’re sorry to hear there was a delay in receiving your product.
We are a very small team, and during holiday periods response times can occasionally be slower than usual. We also rely on Australia Post for delivery, and their processes can sometimes make it difficult to quickly determine what has occurred with a parcel in transit.
That said, we’re really glad the issue was able to be resolved and rectified as soon as we were back on deck.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’d love to hear how you’ve been going with the creams.
Kind regards,
The Perrin Naturals Team
